Who we are

An independent studio, built to ship one focused game well.

Northcrest Entertainment is an independent game development studio. We're a small, hands-on team — every system, every line of dialogue, every online feature goes through people who actually play the thing we're shipping, rather than being handed off between large departments.

Our mission is straightforward: build a single, well-crafted open-world experience instead of spreading thin across many projects. We work in Unreal Engine 5 and rely on Epic Online Services for the account and social features our game needs, so we can focus our own effort on the game itself rather than reinventing infrastructure.

We take the responsibilities that come with handling player data seriously — see our Privacy Policy for the specifics.

Our project

Blackridge

Our first title, currently in development. A store page will go live as we approach our first public build.

In development

Blackridge

An open-world action title built in Unreal Engine 5, integrating Epic Online Services for account linking, friends, achievements, and cross-session saves. More details, screenshots, and a release window will follow as development progresses.

Technology & Services

Built on Unreal Engine 5, connected through Epic

We rely on established, audited technology rather than building our own engine or account infrastructure from scratch.

Unreal Engine 5

Blackridge is built end-to-end in Unreal Engine 5.

Epic Online Services

Account linking, friends lists, and achievements are handled through Epic Online Services (EOS).

Player data handling

What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is documented in full in our Privacy Policy.
